@etaion99 You must not work at a shelter. It's hard having to see all the great animals that get euthanized on a daily basis. Those of us who work at? the shelters encounter morons like this daily! That is why this is humorous, its a reality of the ignorance in our society. Its funny because we would all love to educate these people and show them what really goes on in the shelter when they abandon their animals for such ridiculous reasons (not that there isn't legitamit reasons, there are)

@etaion99 Its called shelter humor because people find humor in being able? to relate to the volunteer who calls the guy an idiot for not thinking ahead about his dog. Ummmm... why is this called "shelter humor"? I don't find it one damn bit funny. 100 dogs a day get the needle at the shelter in my city. The city sends a full sized garbage truck out there daily to pick up 100 plastic bags full of unwanted dogs. No... it's? not a damn bit funny.

Shelter workers aren't any more innocent than the people they have to deal with everyday. My dog came from somebody who worked at the SPCA who "saved" this puppy from euthanasia. But just like the people they judge, as soon as he was too? big and not so cute, she came looking for another owner and that's where I came in.
