I am considering giving up my car, since peak oil is past and anthropogenic global warming is happening now, so we need to save oil for making those items which we cannot make any other way - such as high-tech advanced medical equipment and pharmaceuticals - rather than burn it up just to move vehicles. We should use electricity to power as much as possible. Solar-and-wind-power ed, of course.

Species 5 of 5
Posted by: nahaymath
Video duration: 223 seconds
I now include the sentience-pain-level of specimens eaten/killed from each species.
I mention that the total sentience level can have a maximum or a local minimum with respect to time, t.
In this model, the global maximum occurs if nobody is eaten or killed.
Future models will include starvation.

Higher Chain Formula.mpg

Video duration: 314 seconds
Demonstration of the higher partial derivative chain formula for z=f(y(1),...,y(n)) where y(i)=f(i; x(1),...,x(m)) for each i from 1 through n. In this case, I choose n=3 and m=2.

The subject of my 2000 Rutgers University Doctor of Philosophy
in Mathematics dissertation, Piscataway, New Jersey.
I discovered the Powersum Formula for linear differential resolvents
of a polynomial on 1997 September 24 while staying overnight in a friend's apartment
Society Hill Apartments in Piscataway.

@Oilbeefooked The Omega Stores E-trike I bought was $1584. That included the power booster. Without the power booster, $1294, for the Li-ion? battery and motor. The trike part itself probably cost around $500. So, I estimate the battery and motor being at most $800. So, the battery would have to be much less than that.

@Oilbeefooked The non-electric parts of bikes and trikes last well over 10,000 miles certainly. Replacing one's car (as I hope to do) with a trike or bike, electric-assist or not, IS a change of consiousness - one that is practical. Anyway, thank you for commenting. A few days after I made? and posted this video, I purchased an electric-assist Etrike from Omega Stores, after many months of research and calls and experimentation at a local bike shop that let me try out a non-electric trike.
